Central Illinois | The mount for the EZ 500 seems solid, have yet to go to the field to test. The vertical piece is 1/4" X 2" flat strap with a 1/2" dia. rod welded on the side. At my height, I will be looking over the top of the monitor to watch the right side of the platform. I really did not want a monitor hanging down on the right side blocking my vision or want to run all the harnesses up to the roof. Same reason for not mounting to the A post, to many wires to trip over when using the right-hand door. This whole set-up is subject to modification after first day in the field. Still looking for a constant 12V power source in the cab to connect 2-way radio. Anyone have any ideas ? Thanks Steve | |
