Mississippi Delta | I am a little bit up the road from you in Bolivar county. I am gonna try and get some wheat planted if I can. We got plenty of time, I have planted on up till the first week of December and had really good yields. Just depends on the winter we have dry winter and spring we usually have good crops, wet and well you know how that would go. If I was you and had the time/equipment I would try bedding the ground up someway in order to improve your drainage. If I get to plant some, I plan on putting up some 60 inch beds, and drilling the wheat on top of that. Good Luck. | |
