north Iowa | Used a roller this spring to try one. Love the rock and dirt benefits. Down side is we got a 4" rain that came in a hour, it wasn't pretty. We had half the field rolled and the other 1/2 was just planted and not rolled. The rolled 1/2 really had bad sheet erosion, really showed up. Now I don't know what to do. Oh the other thing was after that we had one of those lovely 30 MPH winds and it blew every corn stalk in the fence. So goes the year! | |
