roaming | there should be a braided ground strap at the moisture sensor. It needs to be connected to a good ground point (the elbow where the sensor harness meets the sensor is a convenient place to ground it).
You are correct that v3.0 desktop cannot read data from v31.4 displays. You will need to update to a newer software version (either the AFS software or another compatible package like Farmworks or Mapshots or SMS). Make sure the software you get is compatible with CNH Voyager data. For the AFS software (or SMS), you'd need at least 5.51. 9.5 is the current version, and it retails for around $800 from CNH. | |
