Sheldon, IA | I setup a 1770NT with an Insight to run Hydraulic drives, planter monitoring, and clutches last year. It worked great once we got everything set up. Had to install analog Vac Guage, and downpressure Gauge but that was no big deal. I hear that Ag Leader is working on being able to read those pressures, so that problem will probably be fixed soon. I would go for it, it makes a great system. I actually found out that planter (a 16 row, with maximerge units, row boxes, smart boxes, and pro shafts) will be for sale because he is ordering a 24 row. So if anyone is looking, this planter is only one year old with dual hyd drives, and tru-count air clutches, plus Ag Leader modules and wireing for an Insight to run it. | |
