Do you want the software to manage landlord splits and generate reports by landlord? 

Do you only want to document "whole-field" applications (ie, no precsion ag GPS stuff)?

The answer to these questions will determine if you can get by with something free like Farm Assist, a "whole-field" crop recordkeeping package like Farm Track, or a spatial recordkeeping system like FarmSite or EASi Suite.
