Subject: Oh,...............well?.........

I sorta had an idea from reading some threads on here about the rotor speed thing. Some were even talking about 1.5 on the concaves. I tryed up to 600, but had a lot of splits so I went back to 400 and then when the weather turned nice, I ended up with 350 and about 3 on the concaves. Seemed to do a good job, very few spits and very few pod pieces in tank.

Over all, I had a lot of fun learning to raise soybeans and hope to do it again next year. It was a whole new experience combining though. I too thought wet grass was bad, but I have to say, tough stem beans is far tougher to run. For whatever reason even wet grass will usually......not always, but usually make its way through the rotor machines. Tough bean stems can..........well, you know,......no go all the way through sometimes. Er,...well, you know, thats just a guess I mean.......Innocent
