I am curious why you do not have a good chopper-spreader on your combine? That is #1 rule for residue management. I know this is after the fact, but I would sure make some changes before next year. The situation you have now is next spring you will have cold-wet strips next to warmer-dryer ground and emergence may suffer.
Am I gonna be in trouble /w this much straw?
