Around here green color is top dog. We tried testing at the auction site some yrs ago and there were no takers. Most buyers never looked at the slips.
It has been a bad-bad yr for hay around here. Just too much rain and cloudy weather. Even with the lack of hay available the prices have gone down. You can see it at the auction, dairy guys are not buying and way fewer Horse owners looking.
And the winner is from Wyoming.
