Massachusetts | Base Saturation theory is controversial. I personally believe that there is something to it, and am trying it on my farm. No miracles yet, though there are some positive signs. Soils don't get balanced overnight.
Neal Kinsey is a big proponet of base saturation theory, you can search for his name on the web and even here on NAT.
