IL
Corn is still too wet to do any shelling but have been pulling lots of ears and shelling some by hand and the kernels are the biggest I have ever seen by far. DKC 61-69 is the one that has the biggest kernels out of the numbers I have checked. This is late May planted corn. Can't wait to actually harvest some but the moisture is still in the upper 20s. May not start shelling for a month. I hope it can drop 7-10 points in a month but I highly doubt it will. Probably be lucky if it drops 5 points.
