West Texas | Still quite a bit of cotton south of Lubbock on Texas High PLains. Primarily grown here because its the only viable crop we can grow. Everything under the sun has been tried but most people still raise cotton. The secret is you need 80 cent cotton to get the playing field level with grain. North of Lubbock lots of corn these days but south not enough water, humidity I would say to grow much else. | |
