Subject: Re: Corn quality issues

Decatur, IL
I took a plot off in the Shebyville, IL area last Friday. Small plot planted 4/25 endured every stress imaginable this year, and I must admit it was the ugliest grain quality I have ever witnessed. Some hybrids were better than others, but all had Diploidia and other ear/cob pathogens present. Yields did not pan out based on hand checks due to light test weights from the infected grain. 150-180 bu/ac and moisture 21-26.5.
