Parsons Kansas | Hello Bill. I just got through planting some 407 TQ. Planted it about the middle of August. It's up about 4 inches tall now. A week after I planted it had about 1 1/2" of rain on it. Then a week later it had 5" of rain on it. The 5" did some washing out in a place of two. The 407 had the best resistences to some of everything.
Also planted some Cimarron a few years ago and it got taken out by a wet year. Planning on replacing it the spring of next year. Unless something better comes along I will probably plant some more 407TQ. That will be another 21 acres for me. A total of 46 acres of the 407TQ.
