| We have a heated shampooer. Instructions say to shampoo an area then go back over & rinse. As for shampooing more than once, I do if the area has heavy foot traffic such as as our kitchen or utlity room where a lot dirt gets tracked in on my work boots. On our shamppoer you can see the dirty water being sucked back up into the holding tank. I shampoo till that water looks fairly clear.
