Centre county Pennsylvania, USA | Yes the FOViewer and FOOD software is installed on the computer (windows PC) that you will be using to view the maps. The downloaded software has an installer, so it's a one click install. You will need to find a card reader that will read your card, depending on the vintage of your yield monitor, that reader might be a serial interface, not USB.
I've attached an example of a 2007 bean yield map view that Mapshots FOViewer produced. It also produces a yield properties view, a summary of data for the mapped view.
