north central Ohio | Are you wanting 200# of nitrogen or only 200# of urea? If only 200# of urea then every ton will cover 10 acres 2000#/ton divided by 200. As stated unlikely to get 6 ton of urea in a 6 ton spreader as it is a lighter fertilizer. As for loads needed have to know acres to be covered. Acresx200/2000/5=loads needed
If you want to apply 200# of nitrogen, urea is only 46% nitrogen. So to get total pounds of nitrogen you would have to divide 200# by .46 which equals 435# of urea. So it would take 435#/acre of urea to achieve 200# of actual nitrogen applied. Equation would then be
Acresx435/2000/5=loads needed.
