Parker, SD | I would agree with verifying the plumbing unless this just started happening out of the blue. We had a brand new disk do this, after the fact we found the factory or PDI crew plumbed the valves wrong.
The valve stop should have a spring allowing several inches of travel past the set point, before damaging anything.
If the image is correct and my memory it ok. The top of the rock shaft pivots away from the tractor, pulling the stop into the valve? If the arm is bending while lifting, I would wonder is there wearing sticking the long tube in the lowered position?
We have an excel which i believe is very similar design to the quad, minus the gauge wheels.
