Above poster is correct from what my precision dealer told me long ago. It’s all about the RPM’s of the meter. I was thinking 52-55 rpm is what he told me was the sweet spot. So for me, that was around 5.2 mph, 32k pop on 30’s. Of course he demonstrated this to me with a couple of my meters on his stand. Seed size may also play into the equation as well, as finger meters have a sweet spot for seed sizes and especially well graded seed size. All this newer “plateless” grading crap from some of the bigger companies doesn’t singulate as well through finger meters. Too many odd and different sizes of seed in the same bag.
