| Anyone do it with success? Have access to a 100+ acre plot of land. 1/2 is Reed Canary Grass, the other half is higher ground.
My only experience with this type of ground wasn’t that great. Cows seem to sink in year round and though they like the grass, it seemed like it was hard to stay ahead of and keep it from getting too mature. (By the time it’s finally “dry enough” to graze the area)
I’m in crop country and people seem to think that running cows on wet ground is how it should be done - I’m not a fan of that mindset.
