EC MN - Hour North of 'The Cities' | A local dairy is putting in 4-6 Lely robotic milkers, and I was wondering if anybody has any experience with these units? They are switching from a parlor system and going this route, saving in labor for milking.
It sounds like VRT for milk production (record keeping of milk per cow, milk per quadrant, differnt rations, etc.), just like VRT for fertilizer/population in crop production.
Looking for thoughts on this subject as I would like to learn more.
