More weight on the rear would only make a difference on traction with a high draft load on the 3 point but no weight transfer. Not sure what implement would do that. A subsoiler is a good example of a high draft load but it should be transferring some weight from the draft load to the rear axle.

More weight on the rear does make a difference on compaction levels. I can't say how much though.
