SEQ, Australia | Those messages are coming from the tractor via the NavII - the CAN AG Isolation message is to do with the autoguidance lockout switch on the top of the B pillar. That switch activates some relays to kill the valve signal going to the autosteer valve on the tractor - road mode basically. Trimble don't usually use this function on retro-fitted systems, but CAN OEM installs require it. The messages occur when the tractor's armrest ECU can't figure out if the relays/switch are working or not or has decided that the valve is not controllable. It then sends a CAN message to the Nav II to communicate this and the NavII then throws up the code you are seeing. Sometimes you can reset by shutting down all systems, isolating the battery and then restarting in the correct order.
The Bouncing across the paddock description means that I would also check the switch itself - the plug on the back of it can become dislodged in rough conditions.
There are a lot of different variants of these tractors over time, so there can be 2 or 3 similar looking profiles, some of which will throw faults because they are looking for info/sensors that are not present on your machine. We have had a few CNH machines with this same issue caused by a failed CNH module and modified them by using a an older profile that wasn't concerned with the CAN messages, bypass the lockout solenoid and then its happy to work without faulting. This will depend on what you have as far as a steering sensor and manual override sensor on your particular tractor as well.
