The 1800 is Gen2 (I think they call it) compatible only. It doesn't go back and work with older displays like the 2600 did as JD was transitioning. Just a less expensive field monitor with coverage map and autosteer suite capable. Being able to save field name info, boundaries and guidance lines is a plus, but as has been said the smaller scroll/button screen without documentation is a get what ya pay for type deal. Probably a pretty good value compared to a 2600 if that's all you want.
