its been a while and i forget a lot of stuff so i was staying out of it but since no one is helping you out, off the top of my head try this.....
baud rate @ 19,200
nmea strings, vtg, rmc, gga. try 5hz but may need to slow it down to 1.
i remember years ago with deere that 19,200 baud rate was pretty important at that time.
