NE Kansas | I have a HP portable. 15.4" widescreen. 320GB hard drive. Almost cheapest at Sam's Club. Cheaper than slower HP at Best Buy. I looked at all the stores in town, when I bought it. I bought it for $640 tax and all. Knock on wood, no problems what so ever. Got Vista. Wife has a Dell with Vista since one month after Vista came out. She and I love Vista. A lot more helpful in changing settings in registery and other things. After decr__pifying the machine, it runs faster than the XP machine it replaced. Will not upgrade to Windows 7 until I buy my wife a new computer. I stay with the operating system, that I buy with the computer. I bet Win7 has the same teething problems that XP and Vista had. I remember Win3.0, then the upgrade (at work) to Win3.1. XP seemed a very easy upgrade. Vista seemed great compare to a machine with the early XP. | |
