United States | I've had trouble with my insight controlling my JD 1790 planter. The planter has JD variable rate drives and tru count clutches. One of the main problems was that the planter would leave skips in all corners of the fields. We would let the planter down like normal, but it took the planter awhile to start planting (5 to 10 ft skips). Also, if we stopped in the middle of the field to make an adjustment, it would leave a skip when we took off again unless we raised the planter and backed up. Did anyone else have these issues. Any help is greatly appreciated!! | |
