Subject: RE: FMX variable rate

Edwall, Wa
FMX will variable rate 4 products with Tru Application control, 2 liquids & 2 granulars for a total of four channels. You can use Raven or Dickey John for your Servo liquid control. On the granular side you would use hydralic motors with PWM valves. You can use 3rd party hydraulic motors, but you need Dickey John PWM's for the Tru app system. It works very well. If I was to set up our system again I would use Dickey John hydraulic motors that work directly in conjuction with the PWM's for the correct delivery ratio & support. I would imagine Trimble would be supporting electric motors for granular delivery here shortly if they don't already.
