West Central Wisconsin | I made a batch last year. It's in bulk storage yet but when I get some time I'll bottle it. If you have a lot of pears you can get a really good pear flavor by using a higher ratio of fruit to water than what most recipes call for. I used a steam juicer to get the pure juice from the pears,(and other fruit) and added sugar, water, yeast, and other ingredients. If I had gotten more pears than I did I would have made it out of straight pear juice.
