Subject: RE: load averaging

NENE
What you say about pulling from 4 bins and constantly checking seems silly to me when they dump it all in the same bin anyway. What difference should it make to the CO-OP if you have corn from 4 bins on each load or 4 loads, each from a different bin? In some ways it could be worse for them. Is the corn blended or stacked? All it does is make us jump through hoops and cause extra work when it all gets mixed together anyway. The only reason they don't want to average is they make more money by not doing it. I understand , I just think it's something we could work on if enough farmers would request it. If you just accept the answer "that's the way we've always done it" don't expect anything to ever change.
