ncia | I have a 3 point seeder that says “Herd” on it. I have successfully used it to seed crp filter strips along drainage ditches, a joint crp project with one of my neighbors, a few water ways and some other projects. It all turned out well but setting the rate is a wild a$$ guess. There is an adjustable gate but nothing tied to ground speed so it can be an estimation. For things like brome , the spread pattern can be very narrow.i guess I’m ok with it but it has its limitations. | |
