Yes, you are agonizing over nothing. But if you want aluminum, it's your money and your trailer.
The height difference is a mute issue because there's 2 inches difference between 22.5 and 24.5 and noone even gives it a second thot.
It sounds like your mind is made up pretty much anyway.
