Subject: What do you use when seasoning ground beef patties?

Thought there was a thread on here but can't find it.

I switched to ground sirloin instead of chuck since the latter is so greasy.

My memory after a brain injury has been impacted so I have to write things down.

Usually chop an onion up fine and toss it into a hot pan coated with olive oil. Cook chopped onion until brown and mix that into raw beef patties. Then cook together.

Cook several slices of bacon in a pan. Drain cooked bacon slices on paper towels and then crumble bacon up. Mix bacon bits into raw patties and then cook.

What are your preferences?
