I think that's more the nature of farm semis, lots of idling waiting in the field to get loaded with grain or idling in line at the elevator. Idling kills emissions systems.
Just shut them off, I’ve never understood why guys think the truck has to idle for an hour while it sits at the end of the field, it will start up again if shut off!
Two carts and three or four trucks doesn’t leave much time to shut them off, and a four mile haul to the bins doesn’t really get them running hot either.
Newer semis with def any good?
