Eastern Kansas | Well, we don't really have it figured out. But we aren't starving our cows like Jon insinuated. It is definitely a genetic issue. I'd like to be able to test suspect cows and cull them out of the herd instead of putting a pile of money into heifers and then have 50% of them fall apart by the time they are 4 years old.
Thought maybe someone here would have an idea of what to test for. | |
