| Syncro-Range, Quad-Range and Power-Shift tractors all use transmission pump low pressure hydraulics for their clutch, shifting and PTO engagement. They will operate at full power usage with the front pump completely removed. Now you would never have steering, brakes, diff lock or any rear hydraulic functions, but the transmissions would be fine. You more than likely have brake failure issues, but that is just an educated guess. Could you have known before hand, damn right you could have, that’s the purpose of the transmission pressure warning light system. It is designed to warn the operator of low system pressure long before the clutch’s are fried in the transmissions. Since you rolled the dice, now you get to repair. We see this happen often, more than needed. Hope this helps. |
