Iowa | I check the Allis tractor box, had a 400 cyclo first year I farmed, don’t have the Massey combine, but run gleaner. Also have the dreaded 86 series- but I seem to get by. I try to keep them looking decent and while I do have breakdowns it’s not from neglect. I think that’s what people are talking about. You don’t see much of it anymore, but I’ve shown up to put plot in, and the first order of business was to clean last years unused sprouted seed out of the planter - just drove behind the barn and pulled the pin - or just shut it off and throw the charger on it next year. Actually I used to really enjoy those types- usually some good life stories if you have enough time to listen. | |
