Western Oregon | I miss those days too. I miss seeing the old homesteads and how they got things done. My brother was an auctioneer, I miss getting everything put together for the sales. I bought new main tillage tractors and combines but bought a lot of smaller older tractors for the cannery crop farming. Utility tractors, loaders, cultivating tractors, light 3 pt work. Most of my equipment over the years was used from back rows at the dealers and from farm auctions. I did always buy new plows until they no longer made the model I really liked, then I bought used, mostly for parts. Lots of materials and parts for building and repair....James | |
