Tom,
Was the rye terminated at anthesis left to fall over on it's own after chemical termination or was it rolled to knock it down.

My experience with rolling it (and no chemical) is that wet years end up really close to the same as full tillage termination earlier as far as yield, but there is a significant yield reduction in dry years, especially if dry starts in April.
