Over all prices maybe little higher than the first round. Maybe 100-200 per pair. The cows where bigger and the calves also. Breed back once again was unbelievable. Very few open and the age range very young and minimal SS and BM pairs. Would say more cattle stayed in Missouri this sale which is difficult to measure. Not as many straight lots that could be rolled to make loads. Many load where made but nothing like the first sale. Cattle sorted into tight nice groups, with more lots in smaller drafts 5-8 pairs. But lots of lots of 10 or more pairs. Many sorted by sex of calves. Most lots calves came in first and the weight was announced. Lots of 425-550 pound calves. Would also add the sale was very consistent with a small price range for each age group and really overall. I was amazing 1250 pairs sold in 4 hours. Few Example pretty much at random 2yr Angus #1490 438# calves $4500 This price got 100's of the 2 yr olds, see one lot at $4600 pretty much the same for (3 yr pairs 29 head #1456 hef calves at $4000 most at 4400$ area) 5-6 yr 550# steer calves 4600$ 7-SS age pairs $3000 to 3800$ BM pairs $3000-$3250. 7 pairs, steer calves #1922 @ $3250 9 pairs, hef calves #1677 $3050 * which I weaned calves right off the trailer. 6 pm Fri night April 19 is the 3rd Sale.
