North Central Kansas | My brother has 100% success rate on grafting calves. I think the red angus cows are easier to graft onto. This year we have been using ferapease on the cows before we put the calf in. That seems to calm the cow. We use orphan no more on the calf. Keep them in a tight pen and they take. He grafted two yesterday. The twin and I got a calf from the neighbors. We put that calf in with the cow at 2 and by 5 it was sucking. | |
