| I’m considering a switch from my older Farmworks software to SMS. I’m currently running the free trial of Advanced version SMS. I’m working on transferring some yield maps from my Farmworks. I have been exporting them as Arcview shapefiles. I’m overwhelmed by some of the options and attribute selections in the upload process. There are 2 separate dry yield attributes on my import files, I’m assuming they are related to the fact that I have reconciled my yields and I would have dry yield and dry yield reconciled attributes when you look at it in my farmworks software. Related to that I’m concerned that when I look at total average yields the numbers do not match my numbers in my farmworks software, however the numbers are not close enough to say the reconciled yield is the answer, they are up to 15 bu/a apart in corn and reconciled only accounts for 5 bu/a in the most extreme case. Any thoughts, ideas, or advice is welcome. Thanks in advance. | |
