NW IL | I too have heard of some people taking some weedier fields out of production this coming year. I also know one of the larger farms in the neighborhood is considering transitioning some acres in the coming years, and more than 1 local organic grain mill had all their bins full in January and no need to buy more until late summer.
I agree imports are not helping. As long as the dollar is strong it will have leverage in other countries.
Dairies exiting and poultry flocks getting depopulated arn't helping either.
