Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | Might depend on how involved the kids were growing up. A friend of mine said his son and grandson always wanted to farm and they are.
We thought our son might farm but it wasn't until he was 20 that he decided to go that direction.
At 16 and if they are involved pretty heavily then I would say they would probably go that direction. Not sure I would put up a cattle barn until they get into their early 20's and possibly see who they get married to. That could change their outlook on everything. |
