Subject: taco meat per person for gathering

Valley, NE
this May my oldest daughter graduates high school and we are doing a taco bar for her graduation party. between school, volleyball teams, two catholic families, and we are celbrating on an off night from graduation, we are expecting 300+ people at the farm.

How many pounds of hamburger meat do i need per person, Google says 3-8 ouncves of meat per person, We are only doing ground beef, and all the fixings, no chicken or other meat. I think 1/2lb(8 oz) pre-cooked weight per person would cover everything and have plenty left over? What say you guys? I have plenty of burger in the freezer so im not worried about running out, just wanting to thaw and cook enough for the party.

of course i have to include some pictures, shes already at creighton doing spring volleyball.
