Central SD | We had dead geese everywhere here too last fall. None I have seen this Spring. I assume your neighbor’s vet is working with SDSU diagnostic lab. I would personally call them if I had any concerns. Something doesn’t quite add up to me but I am not a vet. I asked my vet about the dead geese last fall as to what was the risk to people or cattle he flat said there was very little to both. We had cattle drinking water out of dugouts where dead geese were floating. | |
