mascoutah, IL
I run a pint of 24d and a 22 oz of 5lb gly on nearly everything every year and this is almost all conventional tillage. Kills it just fine no matter how far along it is. Will work ground one pass. Been doing this for over 10 years and can definitely tell pressure has gone down. Besides the sprayer pass cost of chemical is about $4.50 I do see some guys trying to kill it with tillage. Doesn’t work very well. Have seen guys on an extended spring when just wet enough to not be able to plant hit it 3-4 times with a field cultivator. It just comes back every time it rains.
