Yes, most all farmers have their own well.  Around here, no way you could afford to pay rural water for spraying, can't
water cattle either for the price they charge.



I’m betting it’s been 50+ years since we’ve had a well. Our water bill in the summer months is only around $500. we use a lot of water spraying, my average spray gpa last year was right around 15gpa. guessing the water cost is something like 50 cents/acre/year. My cattle are on rural water all winter as well.
