I'm in my 5th year wearing Phonak's, they sit behind my ear with a wire and small tip going in the ear canal. I have had very good luck with mine.
I tried the larger ones in the ear back in 2000, I didn't like them at all, they made my ears hot.
Our insurance pays for half of our aids, Dianna and I both have them.
