EC SoDak | Yeah, basis tends not to be much fun in the NW belt…
I’m trying to figure out the levels of support to decide on hedging more Dec 24. I can still make decent money 4.64 minus a negative typical basis. If the basis gets crazy like when we had a big national and local crop and poor exports before, that -70 can hurt a bit if I want to make much money. Generally I haven’t looked at support levels much and then sometimes I end up hedging near a support area and it bites you as you get a bounce. Granted, we are coming out of historically high prices with big carry outs, so we could drop a bit more. | |
